What will you do?

In this role within the Content & Positioning team in Marketing, you’ll work closely with our Marketing team and other departments to create high-quality content for all marketing materials, such as brochures, aimed at both retail and institutional clients. Your creative writing skills and ability to grasp technical aspects will help establish Sanlam Investments as a leading sustainability asset manager in Africa, aligning with our content and brand strategy. You’ll report to the Head of Content, who reports to the Executive Head of Marketing.

We’re seeking a motivated marketing or communications graduate with a BA in Communications or Social Science (with an Economics focus), ideally with 1-2 years of relevant experience. A BCom in Marketing would be advantageous. We’ll provide comprehensive training across various aspects of our business, offering significant opportunities for growth and advancement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Writing and editing impactful copy for customer-facing materials, such as brochures, websites, campaign pages, videos, and sales aids.
  • Developing content to support new product launches and campaigns while reinforcing key brand messages.
  • Creatively positioning content through mediums like infographics, short films, and podcasts to effectively reach clients.
  • Ensuring content aligns with our brand’s positioning as a leader in sustainability investing.
  • Updating content in our content warehouse as needed.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with external agencies and internal stakeholders across different business units.
