About me

My name is Mfihlo Rikhotso. I’m I’m BA(TRANSLATION AND LINGUISTICS) graduate. A recent graduate with Bachelor of Arts (Health Sciences and Social Services) measuring in Psychological counselling. I’m currently doing Bachelor of Arts Honours in Social Behavioural Studies (HIV-AIDS).

 

I am eager to utilize my knowledge and skills in a dynamic environment that is focused on improving the mental health and wellbeing of individuals. During my studies, I gained a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of psychology, including social psychology, cognitive psychology, research methods, personality psychology, Transformative Counselling Encounters and abnormal psychology.

 

I have also developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which I believe will help me analyze and interpret data effectively.I have also volunteered at a suicide prevention hotline, where I learned how to provide support to individuals in crisis and utilized de-escalation echniques to help individuals in stress. I am a passionate and self driven individual with excellent critical thinking skills and important ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Last but not least multilingual. I’m able to speak various languages spoken in South Africa.
