Our Tech Talent Incubator is aimed at graduates and postgraduate IT students seeking invaluable work experience and exposure in our IT business.

Young Tech Talent will have the opportunity to use cutting-edge technology to deliver results for our customers while earning certification in current and emerging technologies.

PRODUCT SOLUTIONS GRADUATE PROGRAMME

Product Solutions plays an essential role in enabling Old Mutual’ s market leading Customer Value Propositions by offering thought leadership, design, development (including distribution, marketing, IT, investment, underwriting and other support) of new product solutions and ongoing management of existing business. We do provide career opportunities for University graduates with the following under / post graduate degrees: Engineering, Commerce, Business, Actuarial, Marketing or Finance.

Graduate Accelerated Programme (GAP) – Product Solutions                 

  • You will become part of the prestigious Old Mutual product environment, in either the Product Development and Management or Marketing team.
  • Product Development and Management entails designing and developing and/or maintaining innovative product offerings, as well as managing, maintaining, innovating and enhancing existing products through its life cycle.
  • Product Marketing entails collaborating with business areas to facilitate the process of product procurement approvals and launch to market of new products.
  • You will learn from the best, utilize your innovative skills to contribute to the challenges of the day whilst being mentored to become a Specialist in your own right. You will have a focused plan of development and receive ongoing feedback on your progress.
  • This programme is for 12 months and will commence in February 2021

ACCOUNTING GRADUATE PROGRAMME

The lines of business include Life and Savings, Property and Casualty, Asset Management and Banking and Lending.

Graduate Accelerated Programme (GAP) – Finance and Accounting degrees                 

The Old Mutual Graduate Accelerated Programme (GAP) is aimed at graduates and postgraduate students seeking invaluable work experience. Successful candidates will join us for a period of18 months with a high prospect of becoming a permanent employee.

Opportunities for graduates with Accounting and Finance degrees

We are in the process of confirming our 2021 intake numbers but we are inviting you to apply if you are interested to join Old Mutual.  Our graduates are appointed into various finance roles across the Old Mutual businesses and these trainee roles may be as Financial Accountant, Tax Consultant, Equity Dealer, Investments etc.
