    Hungry to pursue an academic qualification? Looking for financial support to help you grow your dreams? Consider a Standard Bank Bursary.

    Our bursaries allow an opportunity for youth intending to study or currently studying to access funding for formal studies at a recognised tertiary institution.

    Qualification criteria:

    • Applicants should be in their second year of studies or later.
    • Applicants must have achieved an average of 65% and above in the latest examinations (mid-year / June).
    • Applicants must be registered for full time undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
    • Applicants must meet the entry requirements of the University
    • Applicants will be required to participate in a formal assessment process including but not limited to Psychometric evaluation and an interview.
    • Financial need is considered in applications.

  • Work Experience Details

    The Standard Bank Learnerships opportunities allows graduates or matriculants to gain a new or additional qualification whilst gaining meaningful work experience.

    Qualification Criteria:

    • Be a South African Citizen
    • Be between the ages of 18 and 30
    • Be able to speak, read and write English
    • Have completed a Matric/ 3 year post matric qualification (dependent on the role)
    • Be computer literate
    • Not be permanently employed
    • Not be studying at any other institution
    • Not be registered on any other learnerships.

     

    What to expect from a learnership?

    • Fixed term employment at the Bank (12/18/24 months dependent on the role)
    • Stipend
    • A SAQA accredited qualification
    • Meaningful work experience
