  • What kind of candidate are we looking for? 

    Students who are currently in the process of completing their fourth year in Accounting specialising in Tax & Finance, Actuarial, Computer Science & IT, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics & Statistics and Risk Management

  • Bursary Details 

    At Deloitte we call bursaries FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS. If you are awarded a Training Contract at Deloitte you’ll be eligible to apply for a Financial Contribution.

    The financial contribution process is open to all South African and Namibian citizens.

    • You need to be studying a SAICA accredited CA-stream degree at university. If you are at school and plan to study a CA-stream degree, you are also welcome to apply.
    • Applications are open throughout the year.
    • All funding will be allocated to tuition and prescribed books first, any balance will then be allocated to accommodation
    • On completion of studies, students are required to complete a 3 year traineeship with Deloitte.
  • Work Experience Details 

     

    Young Executive Programme (YEP)

    This programme is offered to learners in Gr. 11 and Matric during the April and October school breaks. This information-packed programme provides insight into why choosing the Chartered Accounting career is a GREAT option. It will also introduce you to the firm and start showing you how auditors and accountants are way more fun than the market makes us out to be.

    Introduction programme

    This programme runs over two days (in Jun/Jul and Nov/Dec) and really gives you a good idea of what being a trainee is all about, what makes Deloitte and its people special and offers an introduction to our audit software.

    Advanced programme

    This programme runs over three days (in Jun/Jul and Nov/Dec) and really gives you a good idea of what being a trainee is all about, what makes Deloitte and its people special and offers an introduction to our audit software.

    Field Work
    In order to attend Field Work, students must have completed the Advanced programme. This programme is exclusive to students with a Training Contract at Deloitte.
